Zack Huffman is an educator, not a politician. Rural American living and his grannies instilled in him a love for people, a reverence for the Golden Rule, and a belief that we get nowhere in this life alone.
As a former elementary math teacher, he understands the impact that hunger, low standards, and disinvestment can have on schools in small towns and urban areas alike. Throughout his adult life, he has dedicated himself to community advocacy and policy change to improve these outcomes.
Zack is a connector, builder, and, most importantly, a dreamer and doer. He believes that the U.S. Federal Government should lift people out of poverty and ensure a minimum quality of life that rivals the best in the world.
Like you, he recognizes that it begins with investing in schools and teachers, providing affordable housing for everyone, ensuring access to affordable yet nutritious food for all, and safeguarding high-quality healthcare for everyone, especially our elders.
As a first-generation college student, he worked his way through school by juggling multiple jobs, relying on scholarships and the kindness of others to succeed. He later joined a national movement focused on advancing educational equity for the next generation, particularly advocating for our state’s highest needs students. He has served in boardrooms and classrooms, and now he is seeking your support to represent ALL of Arkansas's working men and women in Congress.
Zack and his partner Jon live in Little Rock with their two dogs, Luna and Oakley Dean. Huge outdoor enthusiasts, you can always find Zack and Jon walking around Little Rock, kayaking the state’s amazing waterways, or enjoying time with friends and family.
